Speaking of meeting the most wonderful people when I'm out carving - these amazing lake dwellers were the most welcoming hosts imaginable. They even hosted a watching party as I chopped away at their lovely stump! It was a wonderful place to spend the day - my only regret is that I worked too fast and didn't take them up on their offer of spending the night. We WILL be out to visit guys...mark my words!
