STUMP CARVING

"Celtic Cross"

The Anglican Church in Camrose was faced with the tough reality that two towering spruce trees had to be removed from the front of their church property. This particular tree was planted when the church was built 75 years ago. They decided to honour the tree and asked me to carve a replica of a Celtic cross that they had carved on their pulpit inside the church.

LOCATION: Camrose, Alberta

In View of Public? Yes*

* While some of these works may be in view of the public, please respect the homeowners and refrain from entering their property without permission. The carvings are equally beautiful from public vantage points and most if not all of the homeowners take great delight in watching people stop and admire their investments.
